Start Freelancer Adventure

Started in technical support and now I’m here! Lol.
“Thank You for calling technical support.” “My name is Angel.” “How may I be of assistance to you today?”
From the moment the greeting I was required to use in my work-at-home technical support job escaped my lips, I fell in love with remote work. It was a blessing to find a legitimate work-at-home job when I first began my journey in 2012 due to the majority of the gigs available at the time being scams. To say I was stoked would be the understatement of the year.
I’m a nerd, gamer, and technology fanatic, so working as a technical support representative was right up my alley. When my first call ended, I knew I had found my happy place. I did not, however, know what it would lead to. My current primary freelancer adventure is as a virtual assistant and content creator of sorts, however, I have others, including, writing, social media, business, and consulting.
For ages, I’ve been talking the ears off of anyone who’d listen about my freelance adventures, and suggesting they give it a go themselves. These conversations have also resulted in my giving unexpected, and unplanned lessons on the ins, and outs of being a freelancer, as well as how to turn it into a successful business if you want to. This includes, but is often not limited to the roles of:
- Virtual Assistant
- Writer
- Social Media Specialist
- Content Creator
Now, I’ve created a blog to share it with the rest of the world, and I’m so excited you’re here!
While I am highly knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced, just as I do not consider myself to be an influencer/digital creator like others consider me to be; I also do not consider myself an expert on being a freelancer or any of the roles. Even being at it for over a decade, I still have more to learn, and I’m excited to share that with you too as I do!
The content on this blog covers freelancer life and all it comes with. Some of the topics covered here are:
- Freelancing – Info on freelancing, the basics, and more related to being a freelancer and how to be successful.
- Freelancer Niches – The details, how-to’s, success tips, etc.
- Freelancer Tools – The things to include in your toolkit to up your game!
- Freelancer Resources – courses, software, apps, experts, and more to help you be more successful
- Freelance Jobs – information, reviews if available, salary, and more.
- Business – How to turn your freelance journey into a successful business.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! And again, thanks so much for being here!
You can always reach out to me here! Please allow me at least 24-48 hours to get back to you. 🙂
